For the print itself I used Baryta fine art paper. This is one of the best art paper available. I printed it, and finished it with a very special wax. The technique of using this wax is only used by two people in the world. This layer of wax ensures that the print is protected against sunlight, finger acid and even liquids for over 80 years.

The best thing about using this special wax is that I don’t have to use glass to protect the print. A glass finish affects the beauty of the piece behind it, and makes it a lot less accessible. When you look at this print, it seems to come to life.
